Volunteer Fundraising
Helping Blood Bikes East to raise funds is of critical importance to our ongoing activities. It’s also perfect for those who don’t want to drive the cars or ride the motorbikes and don’t have the time to dedicate to helping with administrative or coordination activities.
Even if you only have a few hours a month spare, your assistance in helping us fundraise could be invaluable. BBE organises regular collections at shopping centres and events around the Dublin area and we require volunteers who will help in this vital activity. But that’s just one element of these fundraising activities. Another key element is talking to the many people who show a genuine interest in learning about what we do and answering their questions. This helps to raise our profile and increase the understanding of the varied and critical work we do, which in turn helps to raise more funds in the long-term. It’s not just shaking buckets!
To Volunteer For Blood Bikes East As A Fundraiser You Must:

Be over 18

Have at least 4 to 6 hours a month of spare time to volunteer (can be weekends)

Be available and contactable by phone and email

Be conscientious and 100% trustworthy

Be willing to submit to full Garda vetting

Run an Event
Do you love what we do and want to help raise funds? The you can run an event of any type at your workplace, school/college, local pub and community group!
Whether you want to run a bake sale, coffee morning, quiz night, charity ball or any other type of event where you raise funds for us, we would welcome your support.
Just let us know about your event and we’ll provide as much support as we can. From Blood Bikes balloons and other promotional items to small prizes to raffle off or give away. For larger events we can also arrange for our banners to be delivered to help decorate your location. If you are running a major event, then we can even arrange for one or more of our bikes and riders to be in attendance.
